Do I have to link a bank account to use Kit?

Yes. When setting up your Kit Account, you will be required to nominate an account as your Boss Linked Account and agree to a direct debit and/or a Kit PayTo agreement for that account. Please note that Kit does not charge fees.

Debits are only ever initiated by you, so you can still use Kit without the nominated Boss Linked Account by:

• Sending money to your child’s Kit BSB and Account number from your own banking app. Where do I find my kid’s BSB and account number?
• You will still be able to use the card and the Stacks (savings) functionality.

You should avoid using the in-app transfer functionality or PayDay, as these two functions rely on debiting the Boss Linked Account.
