You do not need to activate the digital card
The digital card does not need activating, and your child can immediately use the card details shown on the digital card to make online purchases. There is no need to wait for the physical card to arrive.
Where do I find the card details in the app?
Activate the physical card when you receive it
The physical card will be sent to your child through Australia Post. Once your child receives their physical card you will need to activate it in the app, so your child can use it in stores. Please don’t activate the card before you receive it.
Once your child’s Kit card arrives:
- Open the Kit app.
- Go to your kid’s profile.
- Tap on the 'Spend' tab.
- Hit the ‘Activate physical card’ button and follow the steps.
