Deleting kid profiles

You need to have at least one kid profile to use Kit. If you delete the only kid profile, the entire Kit account will be deleted. If you would like to continue using Kit, add a new child before deleting the profile.

 

Deleting a kid profile is permanent and profiles cannot be recovered. Note that deleted profiles still count towards the maximum of 5 kid profiles allowable in Kit. 

Before deleting, ensure that the profile: 

  • Has a zero balance in the Card account and Stack balance. Transfer any remaining funds out of the profile. (Note that balances in linked Youthsaver accounts do not count towards this.)
  • Has no pending transactions. Ensure that all pending transactions have cleared. Contact us if there are transactions that do not clear after several days. 

 

Steps to delete

  1. Open the Kit app.
  2. Enter the Boss Profile.
  3. Tap on the menu icon.
  4. Go to ‘(Child’s) settings’.
  5. Tap on ‘Delete (child’s) profile’.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions . 

If deleting a kid profile results in having only one child in Kit, you will be moved to a single child plan.
