Biometric login (e.g. Face ID, Touch ID) can only be enabled for the Boss. It needs to be enabled for each device that you wish to use biometrics login.
- Open the Kit app
- Log in as the Boss
- Tap on the menu button
- Tap ‘Account settings’
- Tap ‘Log in with biometrics’
- Tap ‘Enable’
- If you are on iOS, you may get an alert asking to allow Kit to use Face ID or Touch ID. Tap ‘Allow’
By enabling biometric login, you acknowledge:
- You should only ever store your own biometric information on your device. If anyone else’s biometric is stored, they’ll be considered authorised to access your accounts & you’ll be responsible for their transactions.
- You understand and accept the risk of enabling biometrics for the Boss profile on your device. View the App terms of use.
Android users: Depending on your Android model, you may need to select the option for biometrics on the Boss Code pin pad beside the zero.
Biometric login is not working on my iOS device
If biometric login is not working and you can’t see the option to enable biometrics in the Kit app, you may have tapped ‘Don’t Allow’ in Step 7 above, biometrics may not be enabled on your device, or you have disallowed Kit to access biometrics in your phone settings.
To allow Kit to access biometrics:
- Open device settings
- Search for the Kit app
- Tap ‘Enable Face ID’
- Go back to the Kit app and follow steps 1-7 above
