PayDay is a recurring payment from your Boss Linked Account to your child’s account that teaches them about the value of work and money. You have the option to link their earnings to the completion of jobs. You can edit or pause PayDay at any time.
- Open the Kit App
- Tap on ‘Earn’ in the menu bar for your kid’s profile
- Tap 'Let's go' to begin setup or ‘Edit PayDay’ if you have setup PayDay before
- Add in how often you want PayDay to happen and the next PayDay
- Enter a regular pocket money amount you’d like to pay your child on PayDay
- Enter jobs you want your kid to complete (if any). How should I set up my kid’s jobs?
- Select if you would like PayDay to be automatically paid or if you would like to approve each PayDay first
Repeat the steps for each kid you would like to set up PayDay for.
Tips for a successful PayDay
- Ensure jobs are ticked off the day before. Jobs must be ticked off the day before PayDay to occur.
- Notifications on. Notifications keep you up to date with PayDay as well as spends on the Kit card.
- Approving PayDay. If you have missed approving a PayDay, tap on ‘Earn’ then ‘Review last PayDay’ to release the money for that period.
- Get Kit on your kid’s devices (or set up their Access Code so they can login on your device). Now’s a great time to get Kit onto the family iPad, or your kids’ own devices so Kit can remind them to tick off their chores! How can my child get Kit on their phone or tablet?
