I have the ‘Cannot Connect to the Internet’ error, but I am connected to the internet.

Uninstall and re-install the latest version of the app from the app store.

Try these steps to fix:

  • Uninstall and re-install the latest version of the app from the app store.
  • Try to log in to Kit on a different device. If you are successful, this means that it is likely an issue with your device, and not the Kit app.
  • If you’re on a tablet or other wifi-only device, check if your internet connection is reliable. Sometimes the app may hang if the device cannot connect to the app store to check if you are on the latest version.
  • Try again later.

  • Model of your device
  • Version number of Android or iOS:
    • Android: Settings > About Phone > Android version
    • iPhone: Settings > General > About > Version
  • Do you use any VPNs (virtual private networks), or is your device a work phone that is controlled by your workplace?
  • Are you currently located overseas, and if so, where?
