I'm not receiving any push notifications from Kit

Kit sends real-time push notifications for spending, reminders to tick off chores, reminders to approve PayDay, and confirmation when PayDay has been paid. If you are not receiving these:

  • Check that you are on the latest version of Kit.
  • Ensure your notifications are turned on.
    • On an iPhone,
      1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Kit.
      2. Choose ‘Allow Notifications’.
      3. Set ‘Show Previews’ to ‘Always’.
      4. You may need to restart your device.
    • On an Android,
      1. Go to Settings > Notifications > App notifications > Kit.
      2. Ensure notifications are turned on.
      3. You may need to restart your device.
  • Ensure that the Boss profile is the last used profile, and that you remain logged in to continue receiving Boss notifications. Do not tap ‘Exit profile’ or ‘Log out of Kit’. Instead, close the app.
