Ensure that the bank account you link allows direct debits. Some savings accounts do not allow direct debits.
- To try linking another account, click on the gear setting at the top left-hand side, press on Boss Account settings, and then update your boss linked account.
- You cannot change a linked bank account within 5 days of making a successful transfer.
- To transfer money instantly, go to the Spend screen and hit ‘Show details’ to reveal the BSB and Kit account number. Save it in your banking app so you can make a transfer whenever your kid needs it (note the first transfer may be held for 24 hours for security purposes).
I can’t change boss linked bank account details or transfer to the boss account.
Note that if your account is new, there are some restrictions on changing your bank account details and transferring back to the boss linked bank account. You will need to wait until 5 days have passed from your first successful deposit in order to transfer out again.
