The app notification badge is the round circle that appears on the app icon on your device home screen. It is used to show that there are unread notifications in Kit.
Firstly, check that all notifications for all kids have been marked as read (ie. No red circles). If the badge is not disappearing, try the following:
For Android users:
- Long press the Kit App icon, then choose the Clear Badge button.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Kit App.
For iOS users:
Try one or more of the following:
- Update to the latest iOS version. How do I update my app?
- Uninstall and reinstall the Kit App.
- Go to Settings > Notifications > Phone and turn off Badges. Then restart your iPhone and then head over to Settings > Notifications > Phone and turn Badges on.
