We’ll be sad to see you go, but you can close your account anytime and will not be charged any cancellation fees. Note that only uninstalling the app will not close your account, you must follow these instructions.
Important: You cannot delete your account while there is a balance remaining or pending transactions in your Kid Profiles. Please ensure all pending transactions have cleared and transfer all remaining funds out of Kit. How do I transfer money out of my kid’s Kit account?
To delete your account, follow these steps in the Kit app:
- Open the Kit app.
- Enter the Boss Profile.
- Tap on the menu icon.
- Go to ‘Account settings’
- Select ‘Delete account and cancel subscription’.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
If you are wanting to delete the profile of only one child, and not close your Kit account entirely, delete the Kid Profile instead.
Customers on a monthly plan will not be charged in subsequent months. If you are on a yearly plan, you will receive a pro-rata refund based on the unused portion of your yearly plan.
Membership fees, promotions and lifetime membership
- Deleting your account also cancels your subscription. You will no longer be charged membership fees.
- If you are on a yearly plan, we will refund the unused portion of your yearly plan to your Boss Linked Account.
- If you have any promotions providing you with free Kit membership (including lifetime membership), deleting your account will forfeit any time remaining on the free membership. If you create a new account in the future, you will be subject to membership fees.
