How much does a Kit membership cost?

Kit membership is free for eligible CommBank Yello customers*, otherwise as little as $3 per month for one child, or $5 per month for two to five children.

Everyday benefit set get 12 months free Kit membership. Everyday Plus and Homeowners benefit sets get free Kit membership ongoing. To continue to receive the benefit, you must maintain your CommBank Yello benefit set. If you are a CommBank Yello eligible customer, you can find your unique Kit promo code in the ‘Get more from CommBank Yello' section in the CommBank Yello hub in the CommBank app.

Otherwise, Kit costs as little as $3 per month for one child, or $5 per month for two children or more. Enjoy further savings if you pay membership fees annually – just $30 per year for one child and $50 per year for two children or more. 

All plans come with a 30-day free trial with access to all of Kit’s features and the ability to install Kit on multiple devices. 

* The multi-child plan is a flat fee. Whether you have 2 kids or 5 kids in Kit, you are charged $5/month or $50/year. 

Single and multi-child plans are automatically selected when you add or remove children in Kit. (How do I change between single and multi-child plans?)

Kit will let you know of changes to our fee structure at least 30 days before they take effect through the Kit app or via email. 

Are there any discounts for Kit membership?

We may offer waivers or discounts from time to time. These are subject to their own terms and eligibility we provide to you. 

Is there a free version of the app with no ongoing fees? 

There is no option right now to access the Kit app in a limited capacity. However, if you’re a new customer, you can start your little grownup’s journey to financial capability with a 30-day free trial. You can delete your account at any time without cancellation fees.
